Day 11- Polka Dots
For today's theme of polka dots I decided to make something that should have been super easy into a big ole waste of time. I didn't want to do just a bunch of boring old dots so I thought it would be fun to do them in a shape or something. I ended up cutting heart shapes out of tape (super sticky and not uniform in any way!) and using them as a stencil to do dots inside of the heart. The colors I chose were not dark enough to show up very well and the tape stencils are placed in funky ways. But lets be real here people- one of my sons had a soccer game, the other one had a ton of homework, and dinner doesn't cook itself now does it. Sometimes the nail painting just has to be what it has to be. So here is what it be...
Here are the tools I used. The polishes are Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers in Black Pearl, Sinful Colors Starfish, and Sally Hansen Extreme Wear in Breezy Blue.
